My first curly cut

November–December 2022

On November 16, 2022 I had my first ever curly hair cut with Tish, who is an absolute gem and wizard. My priorities were losing the triangle shape I was getting from styling and reducing drying time, and Tish knocked it out of the park. My hair was so much easier and faster to style post-cut, and I had far more good hair days.

I also continued to focus on ensuring my hair was getting a good amount of protein and saw a slow but noticeable improvement over the course of about four weeks.
