My second curly cut
July–September 2023
In early July I flew down to Bellingham to film with Bramble Berry in their studio! What an incredible experience.
I got my second curly cut on July 26—more than 8 months after my first one. I’d been having more and more frustrating hair days leading up to the hair cut and was positively kicking myself afterwards. While 8 months between haircuts wasn’t terribly long for straight-haired-me, it’s way too long for wavy-haired-me. Post-cut my hair was better than ever and I was thrilled!

Post curly cut, the way Tish styled it. She taught me the Ouidad “Rake & Shake” method on this visit and I started to do that at home.

An air dry/no product/no styling update. It’s still pretty convincingly straight if I don’t do anything to it.
